Building APIs and Web Applications
Last year, I spent a few weekends building two long-form, comprehensive guides especially for non-technical founders. I’ve met with countless entrepreneurs who think they’ve got a great idea, but because they don’t have a developer, they’re stuck. Fortunately, we live in a time when building an MVP does not require a lot of technical expertise.
The term “API” gets thrown around a lot these days, but what does it mean? What can you use an API for? Do you have to have a developer on your team to build or use an API? In this guide, I explore all those questions and more, including a spotlight on the tools you can use as a nontechnical founder to build your own APIs.
Web applications are getting more and more popular, but in 2018, what’s the best way to build one? The answer is: it depends on your needs. In this guide, I cover the best tools and lessons learned for building web applications without a developer.
I’m hoping to build more of these long-form guides in 2019, so be sure to subscribe below if you like this kind of stuff.
